The specie is a Vanessa atalanta.
A bit OE on colours.

Hello Mattias,
that is an interesting document of Vanessa atalanta getting old.
Powerful flyers, and obviously enjoying a life span of several weeks that individual is likely to have flown distances of hundreds of miles, most likely in this case coming from south of the alps.
The iridenscene of the wings in the strong sunlight is fascinating. I never say it that strong, and I like it.
Focus and depth are very good, details are clear.
Colours are bright and naturalistic.
Only the green looks to me be a bit oversaturated.
The scene is well set off from the background.
The composition is well balanced, too, but to my taste a bit too much empty space to the right.
