| The Musk thistle or Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans) is a member of the daisy family Asteraceae. It is a biennial herb with showy red-purple flowers and sharply spiny stems and leaves. It is native to much of Europe and Asia except for the far north. |

Hello Waldemar,
You achieved a surprisingly (aperture f/4)overall sharp Musk thistle. This is very good.
If you crop the image a centimeter or so at the right-hand-side the flower will be in the center of the image? No?;-)
