One of the most beautiful European butterflies. Unfortunatelly I don't have better picture of this species... yet ;-D

This speies has two generations in year. The Spring generation is bright-yellow, the Summer-Autumn generation is dark-yellow. The maximum wingspan is 80 mm. The females are usually greater than a males.

Funny green caterpilars can be found on different Apiaceae in May-June (1-st generation) and August-September (2-nd generation).

Excellent capture.Slightly of focus, maybe would excel smaller detail.But also so is without question good DOF and very good POV.Beautiful colours they are natural,background becomingly complement.
I like composition.

What a besutiful composition with this perfectly looking swallowtail.
The POV is great - showing it with its wings wide opened, lovley colors and a very nice framing.

This is a bit blurred but you've still managed to catch it with wide-open wings displaying its wonderful pattern and colours. Have you possibly enlarge it too much?
