Common Butterbur (Petasites hybridus) is a herbaceous perennial plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Europe and northern Asia. The flowers are produced in the early spring, before the leaves appear; they are pale pink, with several inflorescences clustered on a 5-20 cm stem. The leaves are large, on stout 80-120 cm tall stems, round, with a diameter of 40-70 cm.

I like this simply flower very much.Surrounded with the dry spring nature it looks like a jewel.

Nous avons aussi de pétasites chez nous. Je trouve qu'elles ressortent mieux en photo qu'en forêt.

J'aime beaucoup cette image de petasites. Les détails sont très soignés et on comprend bien sur la photo la complexité de l'organisation de l'inflorescence.

Tento druh devetsilu je u nas velmi rozsireny,ale kdyz jsem hledal tu svetlou formu devetsilu,tak jsem v okoli nasel jen nekolik kusu.
Tvoje makro je velmi pekne.Ostre detaily na jednotlivych kvitkach jsou uzasne.Take krasne prirozene barvy.

A gorgeous bloom with an intricate pattern and subtle color. The detail is wonderful as is the DOF. Enough of the bare background is visible to see that this a welcomed sign of Spring. Well done.
