G'day Horia,

Nice work here, you have done really well to record the moment even if it wasn't to your liking. The mountain now takes on a strange light, the cloud formation is cool, and the trees in the foreground actually look menacing to me!

And it is great work hand holding at 1/50. The vertical framing was a good choice and lets us take in more of the intriguing sky.

Don't worry! Don't let TN take over your life like it's doing to me! I have a tendency to spend far too long browsing and writing critiques etc when I should be doing work! You are highly regarded on here, so don't worry about low activity!

Time spent on trips like this one should be whole heartedly grabbed and made the most of and I see you have done nothing but.

There's a very nice cloud pattern on your shot. Looks very soft and give warm colour tint to the otherwise cold scene. Nice vertical composition too. And last but not least - good to see something new from you my friend!

Hi Horia,
The challenge of outdoor nature photography is not having control over the weather or your subject. You must do the best you can at the time with what is available. Although the weather was not what you wanted, you did well to create a very nice landscape. Very well composed and framed. I love the backlit clouds. They show great texture and color in them. By the way, nice workshop on the baby gator...I thought that was a photo you would like.

I've missed this wonderul photo. The golden color of the sky is really wonderful. You also did great on the exposure, keeping details and light in the mountain peak without overpowering the light in the sky. The vertical format and composition are perfect.

Hello Horia..
I appreciate this composition with this foreground which gives a good depth to the landscape. I do notice a little noise in there but my eye is more distracted with the line of the blue sky down the upper right side of photo. I guess the tone was added in processing manually with brush? Although I could be wrong on this. Nothing wrong BTW with adding tone Iv done it many times adding warmth to a scene. Anyhow, beautiful light ether way and interesting cloud formations in this shot. Very well done..
