Hello Horia,
Yes, I like it too :) This is very original picture with very nice exposure, composition, POV and natural colors :) The effect of the running water is very nice and soft and those three states of water, most interesting. This is really well done and well seen. Bravo!

Hello Horia.
Very interesting scene and impressive shot. You have done it very well. I like the texture of ice. Low shutter speed gives to water very nice flow effect. Bravo and TFS.

Hi Horia,
This is really an original picture!
I tought at first it were a couple of horns, but then realize that is ice formed along the branches or roots. It's very good and interesting detail catched.
You did pretty well with the 1 sec exposure in the water flow.
I like so much the vertical compostion made with all this elements.
So I can see you didn't waste any time in your Slovakia holidays...lots of good pictures back with you!
Congratulations and thanks for share it with us.
My best regards,
JM

Hey Horia,
A very interesting shot! It could almost be used to teach children about liquids and solids!
You have an eye for a photograph and spotted what to most people would be a simple stream and turned it into something rather special.
Nice work on your first long exposed shot, I have yet to try this but wait for a decent opportunity (but will probably need a new tripod first!)
Great composition and viewpoint has made the shot complete.
Very well done my friend

Hi Horia.
You are very creative person and photographer. I welcome these so much. When start to praise strongly is necessary to change an occupation. It almost the truth(from scientific life).
Your picture of new type is perfect as well as your creative approach. Amazing technique and terrific effect. Reflection of the water is excellent. Cropping, composition, exactness of the reproduction of stones, moss and other cute details are very expressive. Bravo, my friend. Seek and will find.
Yours Alexei.

Hi Horia,
This is a real beauty. The slow shutter speed and the very interesting shaped frozen sticks make for a perfect setting. The composition with its fine details and spot on exposure is wonderful. It looks like you stepped in the world with landscape photography well prepared. A wonderful photo.

I must have an active imagination, because they look like tiny ice arms with little ice fingers reaching towards the water.Excellent focus,I love the vernal colours of the mosses on the rocks.Nicely composed.TFS

Hello Horia,
So I see tha indeed your trip to Slovakia was very fruitful both in terms of landscapes and much closer views. Forest bottom or streams are microworlds of their own and you illustrated that very well. I like very much the overall softness that emanates from this hot. Nice light and perfect exposure of ice and water.
Best greetings,
Michal

Hi Horia,
an interesting post. It's nice to combine the different elements in the picture. There's always a story behind. That's why i like your notes
The composition is great with the white parts on the ice well exposed. That's good. For myself, I'm not really a fan of long shutterspeeds with streaming water; pictures (in general) become rather soft and it kills the action. But in this case it's not so bad [;-) understatement].

Fascinating and truly superb. Animal photos are not the only thing about TrekNature that I like and they're certainly not the only good things in your gallery.
I really love this peaceful bit of nature here

Hi Horia,
Something a bit different.....I like it.The melting ice on the sticks is well noticed giving a true image of the transition between winter and spring. It is a very artistic and poetic image having also the whispy water caused by the long exposure. This is lovely work...well done.

Very neat detail, Horia. Winter offers these special opportunities with ice. You captured the secne very well with excellent sharpness, detail and color. Polarizer clearly helped a lot. The -2 stop exposure compensation was perhaps a bit too much.
Best wishes,
Hakan

I like very much to experiment with low speeds, but the F8 of compact cams is not always dark enough, you must be in very moody places, as you were here. Circular polarizer also helps to get rid of washed whites on the water.
You got lovely lights, colours and details creating a beautiful atmosphere for your "stages" approach. I think you did a great work when postprocessing, of course for personal taste and monitor calibration :)
Thanks and regards.
