[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the few photos I took of the Danube River that actually made it look blue (only because of the reflection of the sky at sunset)! It is quite green, so I don't know why Straus named his waltz "Blue Danube". He must have been hallucinating on absinthe at the time!

This photo wasn't really very close to Bratislava but I didn't see any towns nearby so I just used that at the closest city. I had to laugh when listing the state, as they all end with "sky" and I had no idea which one to pick so forgive me if you're from Slovakia!

Lovely shot Alli,
We must stop meeting like this!!!
The reflection on the water is great, and the colours are superb. I find the focus a touch soft. Nicely composed.

I have a bottle of Absinthe which has been sat in my house for a year. After a BBQ and a few shots of the green fairy liquid, it will remain closed for at least another year!

I like the composition very much. You got more color in the water than the sky. This was a pretty broad exposure range, and your meter read the darker trees and water. A peaceful scene...

Light and water are both very nice in this capture Alli. Composition is good but the image is a little soft and I would have liked a little more detail in the shadows. I know not an easy thing to do, a little PP work may help here. 4/10 Kind regards Steve. TFS
