[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I went walking in a nearby forrest durring the early morning cool. It had just rained all night and everything was soaking wet. I saw this cluster of different fungi on an old stump. It was a bright overcast day which ruined my plans to take landscape pictures, but provided just the right light for some macro shots.

When I look at this picture, I almost smell wet forest. Very good picture with many subjects. Maybe too many for someone, but for me its ok.

I love this type of shot Colin,as you can probably tell from my posts, and this is a beauty.A very interesting collection of fungi and moss...in a pine forest, judging by the needles?
You're right about cloudy days being best for forest macros. Good work.

Hi Colin, I'm sure the genus is Coprinus and the speices possibly micaceus. Very nice work, I think you have captured the textures very well indeed. Good work.

Nice picture. Very good composition and details of mushrooms and moos. The light fungi is Xylaria hypoxylon, I don´t know this species of Coprinus.
