[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Blackthorn is a large shrub or a small tree of the genus Prunus, botanically Prunus spinosa. Its fruit is called the sloe, or in the Scots language, slaes.

The blackthorn is native to Europe, western Asia, and north Africa. The common name is derived from its dark bark and skin, and from the thorns or spines that it bears. In Ireland, a straight blackthorn stem is traditionally made into a walking stick named a Shillelagh. A Shillelagh (pronounced "shi-LAY-lee") is a wooden club or cudgel, typically made from a stout knotty stick with a large knob on the end

Hi Stefan,

A nice capture of this flowering Blackthorn, although the bright BG distracts the composition,I like the diagonal lines in this compo,TFS

nice composition but the flowers are white and the background is brighter than the flowers which prevents the flowers from being the center of attention.

Hello Stefan!
This is really very spring composition. I like details and the natural BG makes bu othe flowers of this tree species. Another "plus" for very nice frame, it was a very good idea to use the blue and black colours strictly corresponding to picture colouration!
Best greetings from Lodz,
Radomir

Hi Stev, wonderful spring composition with splendid colors and great light, I like the blurry Bg and optimal focus, bravo, very well done, ciao Silvio

Ahoj Stefan.

Hi Stefan,
Very beautiful flowers produced by the Blackthorn, Beauty and pain if you are not careful. Spot on exposure has the colors and detail looking great. I like the OOF backround in this one.
Scott

Fine composition with this branch loaded with spring blossoming, Stefan.
Your frame is also very artistically made.
TFS.
