The cougar (Puma concolor),
also known as the puma or mountain lion, is a large, solitary cat found in the Americas. It has a vast range, from Yukon in Canada to the southern Andes of South America. Its primary food is deer but it hunts a range of prey, from insects, mice and rabbits to domestic cats and dogs, alpaca, livestock, and even bighorn sheep and elk. In the Rocky Mountains it sometimes preys on mature cattle and horses. It is a secretive cat that usually avoids people; it will attack humans, though rarely.

Hi Vieira.
It is a very lovely potrait you have here.
I like the calm pose of this beautiful feline, they are really impresing.
The details on that dense but short fur is very nice.
BTW, did you know that "Vieira" in the common name we give to the Pecten jacobaeus.
They are exquisite!

Hi Viera
This is a stunning in-your-face portrait of a very lovely animal. Just looking at the photo one becomes aware of the raw energy and sheer power captured in that beautiful sleek body. It is really giving you the stare-down with this direct eye contact. Maybe it was contemplating what a piece of rump would taste like.
The composition is good and so to the POV. The details are very sharp and well defined with lovely natural colours and great contrasts. You've made excellent use of the available light.
