Dull flat light...uninspiring to some...
so appealing to me...if one only wants to see...
This shot was made on very grey day, it was actually raining a lot, so I had to pack my stuff and hide, then quickly run back to my chosen position to make this image (I ussually leave tripod were it is and cover the head with cloth to keep it dry, then simply return and put camera back on). The light was perfect for this kind of image, clear humid air, no wind or even a breeze and beautiful early spring colors on the willow tree.

Shutter Speed: 1/13sec
Aperture: F8
Other: tripod, spirit level, mirror lock up, cable release. NEF processed in Nikon Capture NX and further optimised in CS3. |
