The Grey Heron, Ardea cinerea is a wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae, native throughout temperate Europe and Asia and also parts of Africa. It is resident in the milder south and west, but many birds retreat in winter from the ice in colder regions.

This intelligent bird became very friendly with human speices. It allows them to come to it's near distance and make eye contacts.

Hi Jure,

A nice capture. It is well exposed and the bird heron is very sharp.

I do think that the composition could be mproved. There is some interest in the water at the top, but the bottom half adds nothing. I would be inclined to crop off the entire bottom half. Then I would crop a little bit from the right side so that the bird is not centered.
