Hi Markus,
I never made it to this river although great stories were told about it. Especially for fly fishing. So I am glad you are showing me how the river looks like.
It does look like a powerful stream that would surely not fit me for fishing but even more for exploring and capturing by camera. This view makes me wonder what can be seen behind the bend.
The clarity of the photo and the fresh colors are most wonderful. I like the texture in the rock and the frozen motion of the water.

der Soča hat Dich also auch "erwischt". Das Bild wird dessen Art sehr gerecht: er ist noch sehr natürlich. Schön, wie der Lauf sich durch das Bild schlängelt. Und die besondere Farbe hast Du gut hingekriegt. Es ist schwer, sich vorzustellen, dass diese friedliche wilde Gegend Schauplatz so eines fürchterlichen Krieges war. Ich danke Dir fürs Bild und hoffe auf mehr!

Für dieses Bild hast Du Dir einen schönen Aussichtspunkt ausgewählt (warst Du auf einer Brücke?). Der blaue Bach schlängelt sich in schöner S-Form durch diese bewaldete Landschaft. Das Bild vermittelt Frische und Geräusche, spricht die Sinne sehr an. Hab herzlichen Dank.

Wow, c'est fantastique, quelle eau! On voudrait s'y tremper, y gouter, marcher dedans quoique le courant semble un peu fort. Une beauté du monde, encore une fois, vue au travers ton regard. Merci Markus, tes photos ont toujours un ptit quelque chose qui fait qu'on y accroche, on y reste un peu plus longtemps qu'à l'habitude. J'aime beaucoup.

These rapids look great for kayaking down them. Terrific colours, and the water looks great as it travels through those rocks and boulders.
What a super view from the suspension bridge.

Hi Markus,

The capture of the water movement of the river is an asset to the composition. The trees anf rocks on each side are a natural frame to the river. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. There is a good contrast between the colors. Have a nice day.

Yes indeed, What a river! Absolutely a wonderful sight.This is just another wonder of the Creation and indeed a beautiful landscape. A striking flow of water resulting in a stunning scene. I am sure you enjoyed photographing it, as much as I have observing it. The colour of the water is really something special and a feast to the eye. I am sure you could smell the freshness of the flowing water. I can imagine the awesome feeling you had being so close to such splendid view. I have many times admired scenes like this one, paging through books. A beautiful atmosphere is captured. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic photo of this wild river, the dispersed cliffs look great and make the photo more dynamic. The most I like is the clear turquoise colour of the water, but the surrounding fresh greenery is also wonderful.

Hallo Markus,
ein sehr treffendes Bild der Soča mit gut gewähltem Ausschnitt - ich glaube sogar die Stelle von unserer Wanderung von Trenta nach Lepena wiederzuerkennen. Jetzt im Frühsommer schien mir das Wasser noch intensiver smaragdgrün, da vermutlich mehr Karsthöhlenquellwasser als Schneeschmelze.
Konntet Ihr auch bis zu ihrem Ursprung gehen, wo die Soča aus einem Felsentor zu Tage kommt? Ein heiliger Ort.

a very lovely aerial view of this river. The soft flowing water flowing through a series of rocks giving white splashes.
Like most rivers of this kind it is very exciting and thrilling.
Well frozen at the right speed.
