| I took this picture early in the morning when this beautiful gorge still had a lot of mountain dew. The Vintgar Soteska Gorge is 1,6 Km long and the river Radovna is running through it. This gorge is located 4 km noth-west of the well know town Bled. The gorge was accidentally discovered by Jakob Žumer, the Major of Gorje, and the cartographer and photographer Benedikt Lergetporer in February 1891. |

What a lovely atmosphere created by this great capture. The general light throughout the photo is very good, just a pity we don't live in a perfect world and this was reflected in the unfortunate burn out of the water in the foreground. A great composition of a very beautiful gorge.
