If the primary focus of photography is registration and content, you managed very well.
Further on I do like the animal depicted, the overall sharpness, the environment displayed and the depth in the image.
My nit is the tail which is not in the image.

Hello Dianora,
Welcome to TN.
This is a pretty sharp and well composed shot of the Large Psammdromus, a species new to me.
You portray it well and considering the tail is up to three times the length of the body, you would have to lose detail to allow the whole of the lizard to be seen.
Nice to see the nuptual colour and its natural habitat.
