Long time no see. I hope that you are doing fine. This is a very nice picture of a specie that I didn't know about... This is a sunny post that contrasts a lot with the snow and cold we have here actually :) Details and lightning are beautiful! Thanks,

I am glad to see your new picture. Have you winter? This is true early autumn shot. I like full of lights and colours picture of the impressive plant and its fruits. Details and sharpness of the main subject are ultimate. DOF is excellent. Passage to smoothness if so pleasant. Bravo and best wishes.

a very detailed, beautifully well lighted presentation of a flowering bush that I do not remember to have seen before.
Valuable documentation of this very interesting relic and probably endemic species - very good to see it full size in its habitat in the workshop, too. Thank you!
My best regards,

Nice to see you again after a long gap.
The flowers are beautiful and very well captured.
I like your idea of showing the whole bush along with its surroundings in the WorkShp.
Thanks a lot for sharing very representative pictures of this plant.

A fine capture of this leguminous shrub, A foetida, named by Linneus, which means that he must have found the smell to be foetida, rather than aromatica. As you say, there is no accounting for taste!
I like the way you portray the flowers in various stages, as well as the seed pods.
Thanks for sharing this interesting image and the informative note.
Un gran saludo,

It has been quite a while since we saw one of your beauties MF and therefore I am very pleased to see this one. How is the progress with the leg? I sincerely hope everything is going according to plan and that you are steadily recovering to good health and strength.
A very busy shot, but then again you did not create this densely foliaged and flowered plant, you merely recorded the features of the plant on your Fuji's sensor. This last aspect is what I have to critique so don't see any nit picking or pointing in the first statement. It was merely mentioned as a matter of fact in relation to the growth habit of the plant.
With a name like "stinking bean" it seems like you were rather daring to crush its leaves and fruit just to ascertain whether it stink or not. If it was a stinker you might have had to walk around smelling like a stink bean for quite a while before you perhaps found a facility or place to wash your hands (chuckle). Fortunately your discovery expelled any likelihood that the name was derived from its chemical composition.
Actually this shot is so full of life showing various aspects and stages of the flowers, the fruit, and the plant itself. There are developing buds, blooms in flower, others already spent and busy going off, probably pollinated and already busy with the process of seed manufacturing, fully developed seeds, and then of course the various stages of the plant itself. The details are well defined and the side lighting radiated a joyful light on the subject and this in turn ensured the lovely colour saturation.
Well done and TFS.
