Hello Maite,
Great that you show this species of lycaenid on TN. It is the first time I have seen T. ballus on TN and I have never seen it in real life. Despite what you say the quality of the shot is pretty good and the detail of the ovipositor is excellent.

Wonderful shot of this butterfly. Superb colours and sharp details. The 'hairs' on the butterfly as well as on the leaves presents a nice perspective. Perfect use of natural lighting. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Excelente captura de esta madre en plena faena!
Excelente el contraste de colores en sus alas, ese verde de los pelitos resalta muchísimo sobre el crema y amarillo de la parte superior de las alas.
A pesar de que la hoja proyecta algo de sombra sobre el insecto, éste puede ser obsevado con deatlles muy claros y nítidos, como en las antenas.
Me gusta toda la luz de la foto y las sombras proyectadas.
Enhorabuena y gracias por compartir la foto.

I have never seen such fluffy butterfly. Amazing specimen and perfect reproduction of these and other features of the butterfly and so fluffy leaves. Interesting and unusual vertical POV, excellent sunlight and bright natural colours. Note is perfect too. Nice job and my compliments and.
