What a sumptuous colony of these mushrooms on the tree trunks, Maite!
I guess it must be dangerous to eat them because they might give you "Schizopherenia"! Ha,ha, ha!
A well seen and capably captured view of this fungi. I think I have seen this or a similar species growing on rotten wood in the Himalayan region.

These sombreros are tough to photograph in the woods. You got around the exposure problem fine keeping sufficient detail on the fungi. Excellent pov that shows the colony. Best wishes,

Me encanta esta composición que armaste!
Excelentes las dos tomas, en las que se puede apreciar tanto la vista superior en una como la inferior en la otra de estos hongos, de singular forma y blancura.
Me gusta mucho la composición de la primera, con el plano del tronco y el cielo, mientras que en la de la derecha los detalles son muy claros y nítidos.
Excelente la presentación y muy completa la información de tu nota.

Con permisto te diré que ya eres como el corte inglés...... me refiero a que ya nos muestras la colección otoño :-)
Vamos que después de leer tu comentario mejor ni acercarnos a ellas. Buena documentación y en ambas fotos se puede ver unos buenos blancos ya que estos suelen ser bastante jorobados ya que se queman al instante.
