100 years for growing, and only a few minutes to die. This pine was burnt in the fire at 2001 (1000 Ha of forest were burnt). At 2005 more than 6000 Ha.
The fires are the worst enemy for the nature in Cazorla (n Spain in general). ... Most are deliberated. |

I'm sorry to hear about the grim destiny of this once fine tree...
It still makes an excellent subject for photography though, and you do your part well!
I like the composition, and the silhouette of the tree really stands out against the hazy background...
