Monk Parakeet
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
These wild parakeets are origin from South America. Some years ago, somebody has brought them into Spain and gave them here freedom. Now they are living very well in the delta of river Guadalmar. They build huge nests and this photo is a demo what happens to local trees around nests. They are all with broken branches. And here the building process is in full action.

Hello Aivar,
Fine sharp, if a little over-exposed capture of a Monk Parakeet, nicely presented against a blue sky BG.
Amazing how these birds have established themselves on this side of the Atlantic after being introduced by man. One would hope that their success is not to the detrement of other species.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hello Aivar,
great shot and very interesting how strong those beaks are. Great POV, the blue sky makes a lovely back drop. Sharpness, colors and details are great.
