Fagonia is an important genus of the Sahara and Arabian deserts, a few species also occur in North America. Only one species penetrates Europe, in the southern arid edges of the Mediterranean. It is Fagonia cretica, a species I was lucky to see in Andalucia (southern Spain).

Hola Ori,

A 3-in-1 shot of lovely Fagonia flowers with great natural colors! The sharpness and POV is nice and so is the DOF. I like the idea of putting up three flowers in a cluster like arrangement. Well done!

A delightful image of this flower with its wide opened and far apart petals. The anthers are beautifully seen and actually looks like tiny burning candles. The colours are great and the composition pleasant. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
