Lots of Cistaceae species are found in the Mediterranean and especially in Spain. Most of them are Cistus and Helianthemum species. This one is Halimium, a soft-hairy plant. I found it in Mediterranean scrubland in S Spain - Sierra del Chapparal, above Motril, 460 m

Hi Ori,

What a heart-touching capture of these yellow flowers-duo! The light passing thorugh the petals looks just splendid, bring happiness and charm in the picture. The sharpness is crisp and the POV couldn't be better. The dOF is really wonderful. The semi-dark blurred BG is very nice. Well done!
