Hi James,
if I didn't see the place name for this photo,I would of thought it was shot in the American west what with the shapes and colours of those very large rocks. This world we live in is an amazing and beautiful and you show some of that beauty very well in this capture. We may make buildings that can tower above this scene but never will they be as lovely as what nature gives us or as long lasting. The capture has everything about it well done and it is hard to critique,so why would I? Thanks James for sharing a little piece of this great old world with us.You are certainly a very well traveled man and know and seen much, may you always be able to journey forth and see this world of ours. Jane is here and seeing it...she as well as I love this one...and in my eyes it has a Kodak Colour look to it..not sure if you know what I mean...the old Kodak style..Very well seen. Additionally Jane say the one on the left looks like the central portion of a volcanic vent..

Hi James,
A wonderful shot with the houses giving a marvelous perspective of just how huge these rocks are. I cannot imagine climbing those rocks! My favorite colors - the colors of the Southwest US - the red rocks and the blue sky are a winning combination.

Hello James,
Excellent image showing these vertical conglomerate (same colour as Devon sandstone) cliffs. The houses are useful scale indicators. Great lighting and composition.
TFS and have a good weekend,

The little settlement is dwarfed by those formidable looking rock formations, James. You always bring us the best from all over the world.
How happy I would be to visit this place!
The image is very impressive, indeed.
Thanks and regards.

Hello James,
I've always wanted to visit the mighty mountains of the Pyrenees. These steep rocks are fascinating and the colours wonderful. A great composition including the village to show the scale.
Many thanks and best wishes, Ulla

Hi James
Another spectacular geological formation presented here by you!
These mountains are amazing and i can only dream to stand on their edge, up there, and be "blown away" :) And since they're in Spain (and no other place much farther away) i might actually...
Anyway, wonderful shot, full of warm, beautiful colors and taken with a great care of the exposure.
Bravo and TFS

Hi James,
Those are some interesting rocks to have in one's backyard. This reminds me of Sedona with homes built right up to the base of the huge sculpted rocks. The village looks nice in your shot. I always resent the buildings in Sedona... seems like the area should have been saved for a park. Somehow a Safeway market nestled into the rocks along with the pink Jeep rental firms takes something away from the ambiance. Your little village is attractive by comparison.

Hello James,
That's really an impressive landscape. I have been often to Spain, but I never saw these rock-formations. You have chosen an excellent point of view and the fact that you included houses gives here the dimension of these Mallos. Very interesting!
Best regards

Hi James!
What a fantastic place, it looks wonderful and really huge! It would be fantastic to climb for sure although yet routes I climb are more close to 30 meters than 300 :) (I'm quite a beginner yet...)
Anyway the shot is wonderful and was made in very good lighting conditions that show the details of the rock. It was also a good choice to compose the village in for the reason you mentioned. TFS!
Best regards,
Andor

Hi James,
This is not a kind of rock formation I would expect to see in Spain. I first thought that you took it on one of the Canary Islands. The vertical drop is massive especially with the great reference of the houses at the bottom. It looks like you even captured an eagle in flight.
TFS,
Niek
