The Common Shelduck is natural of Europe, Africa and Asia.
The males have the colors more defined and the reddest tip. Also in the males, the tip (in the superior base) extends towards the forehead forming chichón. |

You've captured a interesting species of duck here. He has a beautiful colour pattern. The only thing see wrong is that you can't see his eye as his head came out very dark.

Lovely bird the Shelduck, I just recently saw my first one at a reserve here in England. Nice composition. Exposure could be a bit better, as Janice says, the head is too dark for any detail. TFS, looking forward to seeing more of your work, Mish
