Hello Lies,
death of a beauty in late summer. Good shot of Parnassius apollo that you have posted here, and quite moving, too. Something definitely rare you have found and well reported with perfect colours and details.
Your picture shows the transparencey of wings very well, and it also is a good document for the fading of the red colour in the centres of eye spots on hind wings due to aging in the bright sunshine. Valuable document. Thank you!
