The impact of the early morning light is palpable here in the shape of the light bouncing off this young fellow's wings, Ivan.

A splendid shot of this beautiful young fellow :)
This is a lovely Sympetrum species and one that i haven't seen yet at all...so thanks for sharing really.
The side POV here is excellent and together with the shallow DOF it focuses all the viewer's attention on the body shape and colors of this d-fly. The pattern in well visible, the brighter parts on the thorax (even if through the wing) are also clearly shown and the typical eyes are there to make sure your id is 100% correct.
The overall exposure is spot-on, the BG is lovely and the composition is classic yet great.

Merhaba Dostum Ivan,
Surely today is going to be a dragonfly day, yours is the second perfect capture I noticed in two minutes! A fine individual within a fine composition constructed by a revealing lateral viewpoint captured in the correct DOF, your tele lens left the BG surrealistically OOF. Altogether a beautiful macro scene Ivan, I tried to lift some of the brownish layers to produce a more dramatic BG, hope you won't find it too offensive.

Hello Ivan,

The body of the insect is so well shown having good details and very fine, natural looking colors. You have shown so well the yellow ving veins shining in the light. The sharpness you have shown the imsect is enhaced by the blurry background. The whole image has a good composition adding value to the photo.

bellissima cattura di libellula, eccellenti POV, DOF e composizione, mi piacciono molto le tonalità dei colori e la luce calda (personalmente penso che si debba mantenere il più possibile la temperatura colore del momento dello scatto; in WS mi sembra che si voglia rendere neutra la luce e questo non corrisponde alla realtà visiva), super definizione esaltata dallo stupendo OOF BG, bellissimi i riflessi di luce sulle ali.

Beautiful light on this immature Sympetrum fonscolombii creating a very special and fine ambiente for this picture. Too bad to change the colours.. Good composition too. Interesting also to see the immature specimen, it can be a great help for the ID.
