Hi Ivan,

Would you believe I have never seen a Nightingale nor heard one sing? But I do know the song you mentioned. Now I know what one looks like and I can almost hear him singing. I love the pose, the eye, opened beak and the simple composition. No birds are at the top of the trees here now - they are all taking shelter from the hot hot sun.

Hi Ivan. Even though you have had to crop this its still a good shot of the Nightingale. A nice pose with the bird singing its head off. Good natural colours shows up well against the clear blue sky. TFS.

Superb DOF too.
Focus seems slightly off the bird but the photo as a whole is still superb!
