Hola Víctor,
veo que los insectos también te atraen; las Vanesas en particular tienen unas variedades de color impresionantes: Esta me recuerda creo que a V. Atalanta y por cierto, esta no la conocía. Interesante formato, un pelin cerrado a mi gusto. Saturación creo que algo subida, aunque eso no lo puedo saber. Ese tipo de Centaurea no se si la tenemos por aquí ya que generalmente son rosas.
A pesar de lo que te digo , la foto es elegante y les sabes dar una gracia especial.
Gracias por la info. sobre el digiscoping; he visto algun grupete por aquí que le dan al tema y para aves es un tema muy interesante.
Esta semana he estado tres dia por Italia, pero poca foto !

Hola Victor,
very clear and precise presentation of this very attractive endemic species, with both the flower and the blossom's bottom very well shaped and ideally set free from a well supporting soft background.
Interesting to think of this species as very closely related to V. indica, living many thousands of miles away. Reminds us of a period probably "only" a few hundred thousand years ago when an unbroken belt of humid subtropical forest must have existed that was stretching from India to the west coast of Northern Africa. Several species of trees endemic to the canaries with close realtives in India seem to tell the same story.
