They are spectacular Moths, Ivan, and you were right on the spot to capture them so well.
I like the bright colours on them. You have got both of them very sharp and clear.

This is a beauty, at first I thought you used a flash but I see you did'nt, this just sparkles, the colours are amazing, and the detail just leaps of the screen, and for the fact your useing a 300mm + a converter + hand held, just stunning.

Very striking Moth-species, which I never have seen before. It seems to be a pest, but to look at it ,it's a beautiful creature. And you took them both on a very contrasting green plant, which enhances even the special look of this beet Webworm.

You have pictured these small creatures with long telelens system perfectly. Excellent, crisp sharp of the insects and so nice weed. This for some reason reminds me of my meanl moths...not sure why...perhaps the small thread there...of course not meal moths here...well captured....I have had meal moth problems before and they are impossible to get rid of...I carry lots of dried proteins around in hard jars to protect them..

In other words, "Seek and ye shall find." I'm glad you took a look at the weeds because these moths are worth seeing. How nice to find a pair - with different wing positions. attractive, well describing presentation of that couple of Pyralidae moths. They seem to be tiny, and they certainly have been lively and hard to approach. I like the Pyralidae family for its surprising diversity of distinct patterns, small gems. Next summer, I will have an eye for that species shown by you if they also exist in Austria.
