Superb capture of the Southern Grey Shrike in flight (now a separate species from the great Grey Shrike). The lighting is perfect and the sharpness excellent. Great timing, panning technique and composition too.

These inflight shots are so so hard but you have pulled this one off with class..Fantastic detail and great use of the 6400 shutter and f3.5 to achieve the speed..Just Fantastic!!

This is a wonderful action shot! The shutter speed you used is perfect to freeze the movement well and I’ amazed that you got such result @ ISO 400! You have a great lens; I wish I could have one with this aperture :)! Tones of colors and details are much agreeable. Well done!

Getting a small bird inflight is very hard, to say the least..
More difficult than the larger birds.
Excellent POV and inflight pose with the wings presenting diagonally.
Great detail, color, BG, comp, and a well managed exposure.

It is really outstanding picture of so impressive and fine scene. My congratulations and Bravo. These days there are many birds of the species in our places and I take many shots of them. However all of them are static. You managed to create an amazing in-flight picture of the beautiful bird. I like all components of the photo art. Pictured moment, timing are the best as well as the fine lighting, precise exposure and wonderful colour palette. Superb and TFS.

Seems like Fuerteventura is a happy hunting ground for you. Coming back with such wonderful catches as this beauty, and a host of your other postings, guarantees that you will always return for some more and why not, it is all to our viewing pleasure.

It is difficult enough to photograph big flying birds so I still don't know how you manage to capture these small birds in such perfect images such as: "The nestbuilder, Great spotted woodpecker in action, Hard working!, Jiihaaa!, and Spectacled warbler". This one is no exception and you really nailed it – frozen in mid air and even with a pin-prick sized catch light in the eye. Incredible shutter speed (1/6400) at f/3.5 aperture obviously aided by the ISO400 setting (with not a speck of noise to be seen anywhere). Great stuff.
