Excelente explicación en muy pocas palabras Víctor. Yo vivo relativamente cerca del Delta del Ebro y alguna vez voy por allí a visitar a un cliente mío; lo digo porque en esa zona es un espectáculo la cantidad de aves que hay en los arrozares y los limícolas, lógicamente son abundantes.
Bonita toma y especialmente interesante al verse de esa manera lo que parece ser la costa que describes.
Buen enfoque. La potente luz sobre su cuerpo la controlas bien y no llega a molestar.
A primera vista no hubiera dicho nunca que esta foto era tuya, no por temas técnicos o pq sea mejor o peor, sino que te tengo en mi "registro
cerebral" con otro estilo jajajajaja.

This is a very nice capture of a well adapted bird! Contrast is beautiful and so are details. Your notes are also interesting and I would not go near their nest... I'm amazed by the size of tis beak!

This is eye-catching. The bold blue and the deep brown mud make the wader really stand out. I love the pose showing off his feathers and a profile of his face. Excellent details of the face, beak, eye, wings, and plummage. A very nice composition.

The time at which a picture is taken counts a lot in the quality aspect, Vicma.
Apparently, you have taken this shot in mild slanting light emanating from the left of the bird.
You have handled your big lens very well in taking this shot.
The resultant image is perfect in every respect.

This is great capture for lovely Numenius phaeopus. Great focus and POV. eyes contact and composition very nice. I have seen and took in several times N. arquatus. But I cant capture this species by the time. I hope in future.

A superb capture here, my friend!
I really like the low-angled light here and the way you managed to use it in your advantage. Because of this light, the natural contrast between the bird and the BG is enhanced and the Whimbrel stands out even better.
All the colors and tones - both on the bird and surroundings - are lovely and well saturated, the exposure is spot-on, and the composition is charming - with plenty of room in front of the bird.
