Hello Ivan
I would love to hear this bird’s call if it sounds like a trumpet, it must really be special sound. What attracted me to this image is this birds pretty bill, as the bird itself is rather natural looking. The bill is colourful and big and the shape is rather lovely to me and very attractive. It was very interesting to read that the colour of the bill changes during the breeding season. Although I said the bird is very natural looking it is still a beautiful species with strong and prominent features, which you brought out to its best with your lens. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely composed capture of this little finch Ivan.
It certainly blends in well with its environment.

The rocks it is perched on are a very good compliment to the image...and more than that they seem to hold certain minerals as well, almost making this a dual focal image. I find myself interested almost more in the rocks..My wife rubs off on me with her geology:-) fine image Ivan!

An excellent capture Ivan, showing this lovely small finch on barren volcanic rocks of Lanzarote, a good study in local camouflage strategy of a species, sharing the same colour scheme of its immediate surroundings. TFS this fine image my friend.

This is a lovely close-up of this cute Trumpeter finch - a species i don't recall seeing to much of here on TN.
Very good details and spot-on exposure, facts that made its red beak stand out so well. I also like the shallow DOF that you used here, one that blurs the BG nicely and lets your finch here stand out very well.

There seem to be so many different finches - many I have never seen nor heard of. I would love to hear the sound of this Trumpeter Finch. A beautiful capture of this one who, except for the colors, looks very much like our finches. Perhaps his bill is thicker. Colors and details are both stunning. I love the pose, setting and composition.

You have chosen a very nice POV for photographing this bird. You have shown it in a interesting atitude. Image is very good being sharp and therefore showin good details of the bird. Colors are very nice, a lot of color tones being visible. The colors of the plumage blends well with the background.

This bird is another example of the camouflage of nature. It fits perfectly well its surrounding and your picture is showing it to the perfection too! I love the colours in earth tones and pink, with the bird standing on the rock and looking afar. Superb, Ivan, I really like it,

I can't remember seeing this one before, so thanks for the introduction.

A lovely capture showing fine details of the bird, the DOF was spot-on
through the appropriate aperture selection which in turn ensured a lovely
complimentary BG and the exposure resulted in attractive lighting of the image.
