Very sleek looking dove from Spain, Ivan. Quite different from the doves I saw in the Middle East or see in India.
I like the black collar around its neck which gives this bird its name.
Very fine capture with perfect focus on the eye.

Hola Ivan. Veo que también por Canarias son abundantes estas aves, aquí casi se pueden considerar un problema por lo que han proliferado últimamente. Su nombre popular en Español es tórtola, y en Catalán "tórtora".
Bonito trabajo con una luy muy trabajada y un acertado fondo.

I have not seen a Collard Dove except in pictures. He seems to look just like the Mourning Dove except for the "collar." He is posing beautifully for you and you captured him perfectly with fine details of his face, eye, wings and plummage. His earthtone colors are wonderful and he blends so well with the setting. A top-notch composition.

Superb three-dimensional shot of the beauty. DOF is simply the best. FG and dove are crisp, even razor sharp. Their details cannot be better. And passage to nicely blurred BG is amazing as well as wonderful inclined curve of the ground. POV is outstanding. My congratulations.
