This is a really interesting capture. Sharp photo with delicate colours and very good DOF.
It is really nice that you decided to show us this endemic species :) Anyway, it is interesting that it is not known from W Africa too. Too small to migrate?

This Pipit is picture perfect. Starting with the pose which is just lovely. The colors are so natural and pleasing. I love his face and the beautiful eye. The details and textures of the entire bird are excellent - including the feet. You have made this setting a familiar one - it and the composition are superb.

Hi Ivan. You say this is a fairly common little bird in the Canary Islands but it has so very nice markings . You were able to take a fine close up of this one showing good detail and natural colours. A good side POV/DOF. well done TFS.

wonderful capture for this endemic Berthelot’s Pipit. Its general appearance similar to other Anthus, e.g. A. spinoletta. I learnt more thing about this species with your good informative notes. Shot is also wonderful with focus, POV, eyes contact and composition. teşekkürler dostum. iyi geceler.

What a splendid image Ivan, your sharp focus catches amazing plumage details and exposure is spot on allowing details in both the light plumage and dark volcanic rock to be captured. Thanks for sharing Ivam.

Well you did really good with this one. Perhaps a perfect pipit shot. I think the only way this shot could be improved would have been a perfectly uniform, blurred background. Nevertheless, its a damn fine shot of the canary endemic. Well done.
