Hi Vicma,

I get so envious whenever I see a great picture of a Hoopoe. I have seen one only once and I spent so long staring at it that I missed a shot. I love the pose on the grass showing off his fantastic crest, beak and feathers. Wonderful colors, details and composition.

Preciosa Víctor, además parece que posara para tí.
Buen enfoque ( como siempre ) que capta de manera fiel las texturas. La luz bien controlada y eso que tenías mucha y variada. Supongo que paciencia ya que conseguir esa pose a veces cuesta.

Hi Vicma.
This species is in my wish list all time. However, this year I have met it once from so far distance. It is clear I have not any good shot of the bird. Yours is wonderful. I like excellent sharpness and details of the bird, attractive shadows from the sun, nicely coloured and illuminated grass, pleasant transition from crisp sharpness to light blurriness of the BG. TFS and warm wishes.
