[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello there. My first photo in TN. This is a "Rana de San Antonio"(Hyla arborea),found nearby Picos de Europa, in the north of Spain. The place is called "Montaña Palentina" and it is part of the Cantabrian Mountain range. We were at 1600 m above sea level and there was a little river full of these frogs. In Spain this specie is catalogued to be "almost in danger of extincion". It needs clear and unpolluted water to breed and survive.

What a great shot, Edu. I have to say I have never seen a frog in this position. You captured it with sharp details and good exposure. Very nice composition as well. Thank you for sharing, and a warm welcome to TN. : )
In fact I liked that frog so much that I came back and did a workshop on it to see I could bring out the frog more. Hope you don't mind. : )

great fat frog! it is so satisfied! it would be better if we have less space in left and more in right side. i understand, that you want to make a composition with perfectly diagonal branch, but i think for composition is better to have more space in direction of view of this frog, then the diagonal!

Nice pose.

Very good shot. I like te way the frog is hanging on.
