Hi friends
Another shot of Golden eagle, this shot is from the same day of the other eagle what i put in my porfolio.
This one was taked with 500 mm, that is a wonderful, but this time, the eagle was at only 5 metres from me. I thought that in that situation an objetive with zoom would have been great, beacuse of its versatility, even thoug it lose sharpness with a determinate point. However, in this situation, with the zoom you can open the angle and take it at full format and fitted to the photo. One have to choose between the objetive to put and your planification of what you are going to do, and then nature does whatever it wants, so i couldn´t take full view of the eagle, althoug i could take this portrait. Anyway, it´ll be another time, of course when the eagle and nature wants.

FOCAL FIJA

En esta ocasión vuelvo a subir una foto de águila real, esta foto es de la misma sesión que pude realizar a esta impresionante ave y como dije en mi otra foto de forma casual.
Lo de focal fija viene a que esta foto está realizada con el 500 mm, que es una pasada de objetivo, pero que en esta ocasión sobra focal ya que el ave estaba a unos escasos cinco metros.
Y en esta ocasión si que pense en que buenos son los objetivos zoom, son funcionales y versátiles, que pierden un poco de nitidez con respecto a un fijo, es cierto, pero en una ocasión como esta con un zoom, abres plano y la sacas a formato completo y ajustadita al fotograma, pero como todo en esta vida no se puede tener o si se tiene. Tienes que elegir entre que objetivo montar y como tu planificas las cosas y la naturaleza dispone, pues me quedé con sin un plano completo de real. pero con unos buenos retratos. Otra vez será...... cuando, cuando ellas quieran claro está.

What a splendid capture! This magnificent animal so up-close and he's not even paying any attention to you! That's rare!
I really love the warm light on its head. Perfect focus, too.

Hi Jorge,
Wonderful capture of this Eagle. The lighting is superb and shows off the eye very well.
Nice sharp detail and good colours. The rock in the FG is a bit of a distraction, but everything else is spot on.
