Investigadores de la Universidad de California han diseñado un ojo similar al de los insectos para lograr una visión de gran angular.
Cada lente que se ha empleado en la construcción de este nuevo ojo mide tan sólo dos décimas de milímetro, obtuvieron estas lentes a través de la nanolitografía, es una técnica que copia lo “infinitamente” pequeño gracias a un especial haz de luz que utilizaron para moldear pequeñas cadenas de materia orgánica imitando las estructuras naturales de los insectos. El resultado ha sido una especie de cúpula resinosa con un tamaño inferior a la cabeza de un alfiler.

Hi Nicolas,
this is was really close. A good macro-shot with lovely colours
and good POV. For a Compac´t Digi with a close-up lens the
sharpness is pretty good, the cells in the eye is well seen.

Hola Nicolas,
a breath-taking and informative close-up showing not only the impressive eyes of the fly but also the arrangement and orientation of the bristles. There is obviously a high degree of regularity for some special setae.

Your fly portrait is great again. Magnification ratio is stunning as well as the details of the main subject. Colors and structure of the eyes are superb. Shor is composed excellently too. Bravo and my kind regards.
