Esta araña presenta una amplia variabilidad de coloración, ya que puede ser amarilla, naranja, roja o rosada, a voluntad. El cambio tiene lugar en un par de días, de manera que es posible encontrar un amplio espectro de formas intermedias.

Presenta un abdomen de forma curiosa, debido a dos abultamientos angulosos que aparecen hacia la mitad del mismo. También son característicos los ojos laterales, ligeramente sobresalientes.

Suelen vivir sobre diversas flores acechando la llegada de los insectos libadores que serán su alimento, sobre todo moscas, abejas y avispas.

Curiosa araña. Sinceramente es que parece un cangrejo blanco. Fascinante la naturaleza. Una muy bella captura, colores equilibrados y detalles estupendos.

Hola Nimou,
a very nice and well composed picture showing this crab spider embedded in the flower. Sharpness and focus is just on the relevant plane. Details of head and legs are interesting.

A very beautiful macro shot of tihs cool spider.
The POV is really great and the details are clear and sharp.
Also, thanks to that lovely flower from the back, you also managed a very good contrast.

les pattes droites sont legerement flou, avec un diaphragme reglé au dela de f/8 cela aurait peu etre été different mais votre apn ne le permet surement pas.pour le reste rien a dire.bravo
