This is a very nice capture Jan. The space left in front is a nice touch and those colourfull flowers brightens it up nicley. Great work on this macro.

Very nice shot Jan, excellent sharpness on the eyes, which is what really matters IMO. DOF is very shallow, would be nice if you were to use a flash so you could get a smaller aperture, but looks great as is. Good shot.

Lovely shot, Jan. I especially like the lighting and the your use of DOF. Colors in this are breathtaking. Even though this lep is worn a bit atround the edges it doesn't diminish it's beauty.

Well, this is a truly wonderful one, Jan. Excellent framing in which the butterfly fills the major amount of your shot, and quite rightly so. Wonderful rendition of textures and detail, and the colorful flowers at the bottom and behind make delightful additions. Nice DOF, too.

Jan het is een plaatje.
Ik weetniet of je het een beetje hebt kunnen volgen, maar er was er bij mij ook 1 afgehaald. Ik ben het er nog niet mee eens. Maar jullie blijven mijn vrienden hier. Erg goede compositie, de kleuren zijn prachtig, Als je de gelegenheid hebt moet je de Berkenhof, de grootste vlindertuin, in de Benelux maar eens bezoeken in Kwadendamme, vlak bij Goes. Ze hebben ook een eigen website.
