Papilio machaon.

Hello Josep, this is simply amazing! A great shot indeed! One definitely feels how delicate the butterfly and the flower are and one wonders what will actually be the weight of this beautiful butterfly which this finely white flower is sustaining with such courage......thanks....warmest regards/Abid

Hello Joseph,
Nicely perched on that sharp flower. Secondly there's a very good lighting. Thirdly you composed it very well and the colours are excellent.
Finally the depth of field is a bit shallow; somehow I wish to see that one big wing sharper. On the other these things are made to move and a blurring effect is acceptable?
Well done
TFS

Hola Josep,
this is a difficult point of view. But you selected just the right focus plain clearly displaying
the butterfly's body and the flower. Depth of field could be a little broader to increase sharpness
on the left wings. Due to the right focus, however, this is only a minor point.
Best wishes, Peter

Hola Ignasi,

Hi Josep,

Nice photo of this beautifull butterfly. The image is good having a well chosen DOF that allows keeping in focus all insect's body. Color tones are delicate rendered in existing light.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Hi Ignasi!

We often see this butterfly on TN, and I'm always delighted by its view. For me, it's one of the most beautiful butterflies. And you have very well put it on stage. The pastel colours add to the value of the picture, also the not very usual point of view.

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Josep,
The focus is excellent on the head, bosy and legs of the butterfly as well as on the flower. This is as it should be for a shot from this point of view. The insect's actions here are more important than the focus on the wings, as we know what it is and are more concerned with its behaviour than its identification. Very well done.
Alan

Hola Josep,

I like very much the soft neutral colors throughout this image. It is a lovely composition. I like the OOF texture in the background.

Hello Josep,
Very nice POV. Tips of the wings are OOF, but then it is really not easy to keep the whole butterfly in focus at this POV.
The butterfly is lovely and nicely captured.
TFS.
