Hello Felipe and Cristina!
What a nice break from (great) mushrooms! Another great picture but this time presenting a member of my favourite insect group - beetle :)
I believe that this is the some species as presented on your earlier photo (or at least the some genus), both bolonging to Curculionidae.
This is very detaild, and really nice macro.
As always I have a question about size of this beetle :)

You did great to go the extra step and 100% for the details on this one!
The animal came out very clearly and razor-sharp in matter of details and taztures!
You are right - the articulation on the legs are indeed terrific! This is also something rather unique and one doesn't see these kind of details in many shots.
The lighting is also great and the colors are fantastic!
Superb work!

What a fantastic use of flash. Where you have established it? Light goes from above. Very expressive approach and shot. Amazing macro. Terrific sharpness and details, wonderful POV and extremely well selected DOF. Pictured scene (bug on the inclined leaf and nothing more) is great, Bravo and my congratulations.

A Very weird looking creature.. It looks so crispy! LOL i don't think that is the right word to describe it, but it really does look crispy.

Sharpness is excellent and the colors are great too (it looks cooked, maybe i'm hungry). Composition is perfect for this awesome closeup. :)

The way you handeled the flash is really nice and gives a surreal atmosphere to the picture. In fact, it fits really well with the animal, which could have been designed in the Walt Disney studios.
I'm sad to here that uncautiousness of introduction has led to severe problems.
