This is an excellent close capture of Pieris napi. They're certainly not easy to identify.

An excellent capture. A beautiful butterfly. Was there this single butterfly mud puddling. I have read that they tend to mud puddle in a group. Anyway very good colors, lighting and details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Superb shot Cris, amazing sharp details, especially around the eye. I'm very impressed with the camera / lens combination, it has produced a superb result.
Excellent composition and DOF. The whites are perfectly exposed.
I don't think anyone could get a better capture of this species. Exellent work.

a very nice picture with fine details and sharpness,
the textures in the wings are well seen. The DOF is good as well, the entire insect is within focus and the BG nicely blurred. And I do like the low POV, it's great.
