I found this dry pine tree ( due to a fire) against a misty Bg, I could manage any how to get some details on the trunk.

I like the shapes of the dry branches over the withe BG.
I have added a yellow filter to created a warmer atmosphere

it works well, the mist adds mystery and the winding trunk looks great!

Hola Juan,
JM

Hi Juan Jose, fascinating B&W of this dry pine, very well done, have a great week end, ciao Silvio

Hola Juan,
Saludos
José Ramón

Hello JJ,
This is a fine capture of this dried out pine!
That way of dying is typical for pines, they seldom fall down unless there were a storm or something...
A well composed image and B&W fits the theme well!
Greetings,
Pablo -

hello
bien amicalement

Hello Juan Jose,
gorgeous shot, the lighting and the morning mist does add the mood to this scene and makes it very special.
Very well composed; POV and the division of space.

Hi Juan, so nice fog effect and strong compo,
best wishes,

Hola Juan Jose! Wonderful perspective. Very good composition. Hard effect. Very good effect. Best regards!

Hi Juan Jose!

Hmm, I already missed this picture. I'm glad I have discovered it. I think your subject is well suitable for B&W, and you captured that tree with a fine composition. As you said, the bright background helps to underline the absurd shape of the tree that stands out like a skeleton. Maybe it would be fine to have some more details in it. I believe that the use of a yellow filter was useful for the atmosphere.

Kind regards

Markus
