A dragonfly is an insect belonging to the order Odonata, the suborder Epiprocta or, in the strict sense, the infraorder Anisoptera. It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body.

Dragonflies typically eat mosquitoes, midges and other small insects like flies, bees, and butterflies. They are usually found around lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands because their larvae, known as "nymphs", are aquatic. Dragonflies do not normally bite or sting humans (though they will bite in order to escape, for example, if grasped by the abdomen); in fact, they are valued as a predator that helps control the populations of harmful insects, such as mosquitoes.

un bon pov et une bonne netteté sur la tête,malgré tout un peu plus de profondeur de champs aurait été preferable je pense.

Hi Juan.
You have deleted your previous shot when I was writing a critique. It is not a point.
Nice picture of this beautiful insect. Excellent scene, pose of the insect and your POV. I also like sharpness of the head, wings and body. From my experience I know the dragonflies love a flash. In such case I would apply a flash exactly. It would allow to increase a DOF and reduce the exposure time. My compliments and best wishes.
