Hello Monica - so you've been travelling again!!

This looks a lovely view looking down on teh lake and surrounding hills and gardens. Maybe there are olive groves or vineyards there as well.

And the Canon IXUS 750 - is that a new camera? It's a good one to own.

Dear Monica,
a wonderful view. The turquois colour of the waters in the gulf are just as fascionating as the coastline's shape, and the naked rocks showing flowing lines of layers of ancient sedimentation.
A slight increase of contrast might be applied in postwork to achieve a deeper saturation and to make the scenery look a bit less distant, but certainly the pale light seems to be very typical for the mediterranean coast at this time of the year at midday.
