Sorry Maite, I won't be of much help identifying the tree. But the photo is excellent. The dark background gives a 3-D impression. Some more depth of field would have rendered the leaves on the right sharper. TFS. Best wishes,

Bella fotografía, cargada de una gran sensibilidad y gusto etético.
Me encanta la sutileza de la luz y los colores...en mi opinión, es muy difícil moverse en este tipo de fotografías, pues se puede caer facilmente en una imagen sosa, o por el contrario, -como en este caso-, lograr transmitir tantas cosas en una foto de gran calidad artística y visual. Valoro mucho este trabajo.
La iluminación de las hojas del primer plano, las sombras del fondo...genial!!!
Pues yo no estoy entre los muchos...sorry por no ayudar con el ID.

Lyrical and delicate picture if this creative subject. I like it so much as well as your nice POV and very impressive composition. DOF is selected perfectly too. BG is very well darkened and coloured. Nice artistic work done with refined taste. My compliments and best wishes.

Very nice composition.I like light on leafs and dark background.Also POV and DOF are very good and pretty 3-D efect.Leaves are a little similar like Acer campestre,but for high - quality identification would be better look from another angle.Well done this picture.TFS.

your well composed, poetic picture is according to my lights (I am not a botanist) Acer monspessulanum, the French acorn and not A. campestre. It is well represented in the wild in Spain and France.

I used B. Kremer, 1998. Die Bäume Mitteleuropas. Kosmos,Stuttgart. So, you see, your species might not even have been listed in it.

I nevertheless hope to collect your hug one day.

Nicely presented Maite,
I like how the colour desaturates into the background with the greener leaves to the front.
Gives it a good 3d effect, especially with the rear branch mirroring the front one in reverse.
