What an amazing flower you have found and pictured with great skillfulness. Terrific lighting, exiting colours, tremendous reproduction of petal texture. Details are simply perfect. We can see even the smallest insect on the flower. BG, bokeh are fantastic too as well as the whole composition. BRAVO. Great picture, my compliments and TFS.

The details here on this beautiful and vivid cistus are terrific and very sharp, while those uneven textures really make it outstaning!

La luz de esta foto es increiblemente bella, y hace resaltar todos los detalles de la flor de manera excepcional.
De nuevo la textura de los pétalos me llama la atención, con esas arrugas...
El centro de colores cálidos, pone el acento perfecto, sin estridencias.

What an amazing flower. The petals look like some kind of crumpled paper. The light on the flower is very fine and shows the subtle beauty of the petal-colouration. Even a little insect can be seen. Thank's for this marvellous picture of a flower which was unknown for me.

this must just have opened, it still has all the wrinkles in the pedals. Lovely shot, the colors and details are wonderful. Very nice composition, I like how the sharpness is contrasted by this great OOF back ground.

this si a delightful image. I am intrigued by the flower's crumpled petals. It is as if it has just unfurled them for the first time. Itis as if the prtals are like a butterfly's wings, taking up the sunshine.

Dear José,
breathtaking coloration, and tack sharp details, with marvellous illumination that touches just a few parts of the blossom in a most gentle way. The tiny insect seated on the lower petal adds to the most pleasant impression of seeing a masterly painting by a Dutch master of the XVI century.
Those chillingly cool colours of leaves and petals around the blazing red and yellow of the centre are most wonderful, dear friend! With excellent details you are showing the freshly unfolded petals in the best possible way.

Oh my…

What do one say when you are confronted with such eloquent beauty? Powerful, touching, articulate, moving, and above all amazing visual impact. Once again it is the magical use of light that makes this photo shock the senses in an altogether pleasant way. Great capture, great preparation, and great posting – straight to my favourites. This starry little flower sure is made of the right stuff to be the celebrity of this show.

No nits to be found here as the photo was done to near perfection (and anyone who might have a different opinion will have a tough time to try and convince me). The composition is aesthetically pleasing and well done, the colours are vibrant and so soothing on the eyes, the details are exquisite (even down to the teeny-weeny little bug), the BG gets full marks for the enhancing factor, and the exposure was managed with brilliance.

Words dont suffice to descibe the beauty of this Rockrose and you have done a brilliant shot capturing it in all its glory.
