Con poca paciencia se le ve a este pichón!
Muy buena la foto y la expresión capturada en el ave.
Me gusta el punto de vista, la pose, y la profundidad de campo utilizada, lograste un fondo difuso que resalta lo mejor del pájaro.
Excelente también la textura del tronco donde se encuentra posado.

Amazing pictured scene. Bravo. Great captured moment. I like your composition so much as well as the delicate dark colour palette. The shot will be simple outstanding if the DOF would be larger a bit. I almost always apply ISO 400 in such cases. This is a small reserve. At your camera may be ISO 800 would be seen very well.

Oh i know how things can become angry when not given food.. as they say "a hungry man is an angry man", i guess in this case, "a hungry bird is a angry bird". I like this shot with perfect timing of it chirping. A good shot with sharpness at appropriate areas. I'm not to bothered about the OOF wing. I think the DOP is just right and this shot is good.

looks lovely, specially the colors of the BG work very well. The cute pose and the undistracted view of the bird makes a lovely composition.
A little to much noise reduction perhaps as you loosing a view good details.

La verdad es que los jardines son una gozada para fotografiar avecillas.... pero dale un respiro que no para de pedir comida.... o era a tí para que le inmortalizases de esa manera tan bonita.

Estamos de agua hasta la coronilla.... y es que no hemos podido salir nada en todo estos días de fiesta hay que jorobarse... bueno yo estoy preparando mis fotos de la exposición que tengo ahora en abril. El lunes me toca llevar las fotos al laboratorio.

Que tal esos días de semana santa, curraste mucho.

Hello VICMA,

This is a very good shot of a small, little fellow! You captured the action very well! He definitely seems to be hungry!

Composition:

You did very well on the composition! The bird looks like a statue on its support! I love the way you captured the bird with open beak against the plain, OOF background! The action reads very well! I would have preferred a larger empty space in front of the bird. This is a minor point and as I said, just my personal preference. The dreamy background suits your picture very well as it isolates the subject perfectly! The composition is clean and simple and the absence of any distracting object is a big plus! Just the way a bird photo should look! Very well done!

Colors:

The color range is pretty reduced but there are plenty of neutral gray tones which create a pleasant image. They look natural and well saturated!

Contrast:

By having similar colors in both foreground and background, you kept the contrast pretty low. However this isn't an inconvenience. On the contrary, this is what makes your photo so special.

Exposure:

Exposure is excellent! Especially when I look at your settings I realize that you took the photo in low light conditions where the tripod was a must. However, you were lucky the bird wasn't moving during exposure so you could get super sharp details in its head! In spite of the low light conditions you exposed the scene very well to preserve great details and don't underexpose the shadows. Great job!

Focus:

Focus was achieved precisely on the subject's head where sharpness is the best. The Large aperture created an amazing background to isolate the bird perfectly!

A wonderful picture where you captured great action! Outstanding job! Thanks for sharing!
