Hello Felipe,
I am very impressed with the diffuser technique you have used here. The mating bugs are in very sharp focus with brilliant rendition of colours and no sharp reflections anywhere.
The image is beautiful and I have learned much by following your very helpful note.

Hola Felipe y Cristina,

JM

Hello Felipe & Cristina!
Very nice composition! A lot of "free space" and pair of red-eye lovers in the corner.
Very interesting, useful, and detailed note!!!
Best greetings from Lodz my Friends!
Radomir
PS. I will send you a longer e-mail in the evening :)

Hi, my friends.
You are right. Note is great as well as the technique and close-up picture. This season I will try to use some advices.
Lighting is really perfect: soft and effective. Even reflections on the leaf are soft. Details and colours o the picture are perfect too. Only it seems to me the point of focus is a little bit displaced forward. My best wishes and TFS. Perfect job.
Alexei.

Hi Filipe
You were a bad boy! You stayed at the computer so long and you wrote such a long note!!! :)) (or did you get a wireless keybord?)
Just kidding anyway...this is actually a fantastic note, especially for guys like me who are still to discover teh benefis of a flash difusser. The examples you mentioned really come in handy, as well as the techniques.
Now for the shot: it's terrific! The correct lighting on it really made those colors shine! I love all the textures and the details, as well as the shallow DOF that keeps almost only their heads in full focus.
Superb composition, too.
The workshop, is a bliss! Such an original idea!
You should try and sell your original ideas...you would make a lot of money :))
I'm especially honored you saying you mande it for me :)
All-in-all: a magnificent and complete post!
BRAVO, TFS and further best wishes and quick recovery for you, my friend!

Hello Felipe,
Wow, that's an amazing shot. I like very much the composition with large area of almost uniform background and the contrast it makes with the flies. The flies themselves are incredibly well focused. Diffuser also worked perfectly.
I love your note - find it extremely informative. I try with diffusers myself and found some inspiration... :-)
Best greetings,
Michal
